oooh harsh! spent the best of 2 days on this. I've called her Megan... just so I have someone to shout at when photoshop was crashing for the 15th time. 40 layers, 300dpi, 4000x5500 pxl???? ish. Yeh not su...prised it was complaining... all painted apart from the floor was taken from some free stock. Just practising concept stuff. Pose was copied from purchsed stock.
DO NOT STEAL! it is against the law to steal artwork that doesnt belong to ya! And its not polite! ^_^
This is cool. Reminds me a little bit of *davidkawena's style (mostly because of the background), but definitely different at the same time. You've kind of got... almost a weird combination of looking very photorealistic, but also looking painted. I like it Nice job

hey thanks ma friend! Wow david kawena's style rocks... I can only hope lol! yeh its a new style I am trying to perfect... you have the style dead on, photoflawless paint stokes is the aim is that makes any sense... i dont want them to look toooo real, because then it loses magic ^_^ thanks for your comment!
I just looked at it again, and I have to say, the hands are exceptional. Even very skilled photorealists often can't get their hands to look as natural as yours.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. Please read this article for more information on how you can participate!
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.

Sometimes, it seems like half of being a good artist is being able to cover up your mistakes without anybody noticing
