Wow, what an amazing picture! The shading is beautiful, as is the horse. You are right though, the back end is iffy, especially the legs, but I'll adress that for you, so that perhaps you can fix it to your liking.:) Frankly though, the shading job you did on this horse, I'd say you could get away with some anatomical errors, lol. I am truly envious of your shading.^^

The Hind end is perhaps the biggest issue this image has, for the most part, it isn't proportionate with the front end, as in height, the point of hip should be just a little bit below the height of the withers, and over all, the rump should be more angular and smooth. You have the top too rounded, as well as too short, which is probably part of why the hind legs have fallen apart as they have. I have some halter horse images linked here, so that you can see how the topline should ideally be for a show grade arab: [link] [link] [link] Now, looking at these, you can see how smooth their hindquarters are. Now, applying this to those hind legs, the only part which are actually having problems are the thigh, since the shanks and lower ankles are fine. Although, the hock is a little thin, should the topline be fixed, that shouldlook normal, since I think the way it is connected to the rest of the leg is what is putting that aspect off.:) Smoothing out the muscle lines you have set up there, and around the stifle, and everything should turn out fine.

I honestly can't see anything that needs changing on any other part of the horse, again, you did a wonderful job, not only on the horse, but the ribbon looks awesome as well! I really hope my crit has helped you somewhat, and should you decide to change anything, I can't wait to see how it turns out!!
